OVERVIEW
Kimber's Subalpine series was designed specifically for one purpose: hunting elk and similar-size game, presumably by the hunter who treks considerable distances to reach their hunting grounds.
Utilizing the proven reliability of a Mauser 98-pattern, controlled round feed extractor, chambered in cartridges that are known to be highly-effective for elk-sized game, possessing an adjustable trigger, a fluted barrel with match chamber, and incorporating a pillar-bedded, reinforced carbon fiber stock with a heavy Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, there's really not much left for the hunter to ask for. Just mount and zero your favorite scope, sling the Subalpine up, grab your favorite hunting loads and a cup of coffee, and head out to stock up the freezer!
